In recent weeks, event technology and services companies announced new offerings, agreements, and major upgrades aimed at making events more accessible, engaging, and measurable across in-person and virtual event environments.
Zuant 3D Lead Capture Transforms Virtual Events with Immersive Experiences
Zuant unveiled its Zuant 3D Lead Capture technology, a virtual sales channel designed to bridge the gap between in-person and virtual experiences by enhancing engagement and extending the value of physical events. Capable of increasing lead-conversion rates by up to 20% through immersive 3D experiences, the platform uses Matterport’s 3D photography to create “digital twins” of physical spaces, transforming live events into virtual experiences accessible to global audiences 24/7.

Users can access videos, 3D models, and unlimited additional content throughout their experience.
How It Works
The technology seamlessly integrates with CRM systems while offering comprehensive features including:
• Real-time tracking of customer navigation patterns
• Analytics on time spent viewing specific products
• Live video and chat capabilities for customer queries
• Detailed analytics for maximizing lead conversion
• Dual-control options for guided or self-guided experiences
“Zuant 3D has a great advantage over traditional interactions, as it can either be an entirely exclusive experience for a customer to self-navigate alone, or a guided tour with dual controls for sales agents to use,” said Pete Gillett, CEO of Zuant.

Zuant 3D Lead Capture features live video and chat capabilities for customer queries.
The platform’s intelligent design recognizes a visitor’s exact location within the virtual space, enabling contextual content suggestions based on what they’re viewing without being intrusive. Users can access videos, 3D models, and unlimited additional content throughout their experience.
Real-World Applications
The technology has proven valuable across multiple industries, including trade shows, retail, real estate, hospitality, manufacturing, construction, and medtech.
For example, Toshiba implemented Zuant 3D to conduct live virtual tours of its trade show booth, maximizing opportunities during events and extending the booth’s effectiveness long after shows ended. According to Zuant officials, clients typically experience a tenfold improvement in lead quality using the platform.
Electrical equipment manufacturer Plug Power leveraged Zuant 3D to create a virtual alternative to its in-person “Gigafactory” launch. The virtual factory tour included:
• Video presentations from subject experts at each tour stop
• On-demand access to additional information and support
• Personalized follow-up emails with tailored information links to maximize lead conversion
The virtual event attracted 1,600 attendees who generated more than 65,000 interactions within the 3D space from locations worldwide.
“We have valued customers and partners in Europe, Asia and beyond––hybrid events allow us to include them in what we’re doing,” said Tracy Oakland, global events manager at Plug Power. “We just couldn’t have handled the insane traffic for our Gigafactory launch in any other way. There’s no question we will use Zuant 3D again. We are building green hydrogen production plants across the U.S., and we fully intend on doing at least one, if not multiple, tours of those facilities using Zuant 3D.”
Datavault AI Completes CompuSystems Acquisition
Datavault AI has finalized its acquisition of CompuSystems (CSI), a provider of event registration, lead management, and data analytics services for the trade, association, corporate, and government event markets. The transaction, announced on May 22, concludes the agreement announced earlier this year.
Designed to scale intelligent event technologies, enhance client satisfaction, and deliver deeper insights across live events and other experience-driven industries, the integration involves CompuSystems now operating as the CSI Division of Datavault AI. CSI will maintain its customer-first approach while leveraging Datavault’s AI-driven data experience and monetization technologies, according to CSI officials.
“This closing represents the start of an exciting new era for CSI and our clients,” said Mark LoGiurato, president of the CSI Division. “With the full backing of Datavault AI, we’re better positioned than ever to deliver smarter, more immersive, and more measurable experiences across the events industry—and to extend these capabilities into new markets beyond events, where our technology and expertise can drive equally powerful results.”
XL8 Upgrades EventCAT for Live and Remote Multilingual Communication
AI-powered localization solutions leader XL8 has made enhancements to its EventCAT platform, improving its advanced real-time multilingual communication capabilities for live, hybrid, and remote events. The AI-powered translation platform now supports two-way live speech translation, enabling natural conversations between speakers of different languages without human interpreters.
The upgraded system allows presenters to view real-time translations on discreet screens, while audiences can access translations via large venue displays or personal mobile devices through QR codes. A notable new feature is voice translation, complementing the existing subtitle functionality.

A notable new feature is voice translation, complementing the existing subtitle functionality.
“Subtitles are incredibly helpful, but there’s something powerful about hearing a message in your own language,” said Rosa Lee, XL8 head of marketing. “That’s why we introduced voice translation, because it’s what our users have been asking for.”
Key enhancements include:
• Two-way live speech translation for natural multilingual conversations
• Audio-assisted translation through headphones or earbuds
• Device-agnostic access with both visual and audio options
• Advanced meeting management tools and improved admin controls
• Context-aware AI pre-training capability for specialized terminology
The technology was recently showcased when a Korean-speaking moderator conducted a fluent bilingual discussion with OpenAI co-founder Greg Brockman, with audience members following along via subtitles and audio in their preferred languages, according to XL8 officials.
For virtual settings, EventCAT seamlessly integrates with webinar platforms like Zoom, allowing hundreds of participants to select from 43 supported languages. The platform also supports streaming to services, such as YouTube, with live multilingual captions.
The technology’s new pre-training feature allows event organizers to upload presentation materials before the event, enabling EventCAT’s AI to fine-tune its models for domain-specific content—particularly valuable for technical, academic, legal, or medical events.
Available in flexible subscription and on-demand packages, EventCAT serves corporate events, webinars, and global meetings, advancing XL8’s mission to eliminate language barriers through AI-driven, context-aware translation technology.
