Connect Meetings’ flagship annual event, Connect Marketplace, just happened in Miami Aug. 25-27.  

Known for its promise to “get business done,” the event delivered on that reputation with a vibrant, marketplace-style show floor that spanned nearly the entire 500,000 square feet of configurable expo space at the Miami Beach Convention Center.  

Beyond a dynamic hub featuring 125 exhibitors, a significant portion of the floor was devoted to one-on-one meetings. Over the course of three days, 3,330 attendees—including 1,100 hosted buyers, 190 of which were first-timers—engaged in more than 38,700 personalized meetings.  

Many also stayed at one of the event’s 12 partner hotels, further facilitating seamless networking and collaboration. 

But it wasn’t all business, because the closing reception doubled as a Flo Rida concert.
