After producing Connect Spring Marketplace in Las Vegas for the last several years, Informa has selected Louisville, Ky., to host the event in 2026. Scheduled for April 14-16, Connect Spring Marketplace connects buyers and suppliers in the meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) industries in a reverse-style trade show format.
Produced by Informa, North America's largest show producer, Connect Spring Marketplace will bring thousands of events, travel, and sports industry leaders to Derby City. The three-day event features pre-scheduled appointments, education sessions, and networking opportunities designed to foster meaningful business relationships. Attendees can expect a curated experience that maximizes ROI through targeted matchmaking between planners and suppliers, according to Connect.

Why it matters: Louisville offers a strategic central location, world-class convention facilities, and authentic Southern hospitality. The walkable downtown district, anchored by the Kentucky International Convention Center, combined with the city's rich bourbon heritage and culinary scene, creates the perfect environment for meaningful business connections and networking opportunities.
What they’re saying: "Louisville has consistently proven to be an exceptional host city for our events,” said Matt Johnson, managing director at Informa Connect. “Since hosting Connect Marketplace in 2019 with 3,600 attendees—which featured our first-ever experiential trade show—the city has demonstrated its commitment to delivering outstanding experiences for our attendees. This will mark our fourth Connect event in Louisville, underscoring a longstanding partnership that both parties are incredibly proud of."
Zooming out: As part of Informa, a global public company that specializes in business intelligence, academic publishing, and events, Connect Spring Marketplace leverages global expertise while delivering localized, personalized experiences that drive business outcomes for participants, Johnson said.

In the heart of Louisville, Angel’s Envy was founded by Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson, and his son, Wes Henderson.
Deeper dive: Johnson told us that Connect Spring Marketplace continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of the events, travel, and sports industries while maintaining its reputation for excellence in connecting qualified buyers with renowned event suppliers.
Looking ahead: Up next, Connect Marketplace is set for Aug. 25-27 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Located downtown, the Slugger Museum and factory is a popular spot for off-site events.
