Delta Air Lines is unveiling a reimagined digital platform for its Delta Business division, designed to deliver more value for managed corporate travel via smarter, more intuitive tools specifically designed for business customers.

Announced August 20 at SHOWCASE, Delta Business’s signature product reveal event, the new platform will replace the current Delta Professional site, rolling out to corporate accounts later this year. Travel agency customers will receive their upgraded version in 2026, with additional features tailored to their workflows.

“The launch of our reimagined Delta Business site marks a pivotal moment in our journey with our corporate partners,” said Bob Somers, senior vice president–global sales for Delta Air Lines. “With intuitive navigation built around real-world workflows, Smart Search that instantly surfaces key details in one place for faster access to the information you need, and a streamlined wallet solution that empowers companies to deploy resources on demand — this is more than a product launch; it’s a milestone in how we’re shaping the future of business travel together.”

  • Smart Search: A responsive tool that understands natural language queries and instantly surfaces relevant insights.

  • Streamlined Wallet: A centralized hub for Loyalty Tokens, Service Points, and Amenity Points that gives companies more control over how they deploy value across their travel programs.

Built to evolve with customer feedback, the platform will continue to expand with tailored dashboards, deeper insights, and greater flexibility, according to Delta officials.

The launch is part of the airline’s “New Era for Delta Business” initiative for 2025 that builds on its extensive history of corporate travel innovations, including the original Delta Professional platform, GSS Live Chat, and SkyMiles for Business.

“For 100 years, Delta has led with purpose — not by following trends, but by setting them,” Somers added. “And we're proud to continue that legacy with bold, customer-first innovation. The new Delta Business site, smart search, and our flexible value solutions are just the beginning.”

What prompted Delta to reimagine its Delta Business platform and in what key ways will this benefit corporate event organizers?

Over a decade ago, Delta led the industry with the launch of Delta Professional—a bold move that centralized insights and tools for corporate travel managers. But innovation isn’t a one-time event. True to our “Listen. Act. Listen.” approach, we’ve heard feedback from our customers and used it to shape a reimagined Delta Business site that reflects today’s needs. For corporate and event organizers, the new experience is user-friendly and brings key information to the forefront, making it easier to navigate, find answers quickly, and manage travel programs with greater confidence and control.

How will the new Delta Business platform’s “streamlined wallet” for Loyalty Tokens and Service Points specifically benefit corporate event planners who need to manage travel for large groups of attendees?

The new Delta Business site’s streamlined wallet, featuring Loyalty Tokens, Amenity Points, and Service Points, gives corporate customers greater flexibility and control on how they would like to use their value. Customers can easily view available value, understand how it can be used, and apply it strategically based on what’s best for their travel program.

In what ways does the “Smart Search” functionality address the unique challenges that event planners face when coordinating travel arrangements for conferences and corporate gatherings?

Smart Search is a powerful new feature on the Delta Business site designed to simplify workflows by quickly surfacing the information users need. It understands natural language queries, like asking how many service points were used or searching by passenger name record (PNR) and delivers direct answers and links to deeper insights without requiring users to navigate the entire site. Launching in beta, Smart Search is built to evolve with customer feedback and will eventually support more complex queries and actions, making it a central tool for managing travel programs efficiently and intuitively.

The value of intuitive navigation on the new Delta Business site lies in its design around real-world workflows. Instead of requiring users to move across multiple applications, the new experience centralizes key information on a single dashboard—making it easier to access insights, connect with account managers, and get real-time support. This streamlined layout helps users work faster and smarter, with less friction and more confidence in managing their travel programs.

Looking ahead to the platform’s evolution, what specific features or enhancements are being considered to address the unique needs of corporate event planners versus general business travel management?

The new Delta Business site is designed to grow with our customers, shaped by their feedback and evolving needs. Customers will continue to shape the future of the site alongside us, laying the groundwork for tailored experiences, smarter analytics, and more strategic flexibility as the platform evolves.
